The Elks help those who wish to further their education with Scholarships from several sources. The Elks National Foundation hands out more than $3.64 million in college scholarships each year, including scholarships for the Most Valuable Student, and legacy scholarships for children and grandchildren of Elks. In New Mexico, The Charitable & Benevolent Trust, also awards scholarships to both those wishing to advance academically, or enter into vocational training. Our lodge hands out three $2,000 scholarships annually as well.

2009 ENF Scholarship Contests The 2010 MVS Scholarship and Legacy Award contests are underway. Applications for the Class of 2010 are online, or available from your local Elks Lodge and High School Counselors. We encourage all eligible high school seniors to apply. The Deadline is December 2010. Legacy Scholarships are available on-line only. The Deadline is January 8, 2011.
